My three Golden Rules of staying on track:
1. WEIGH IN WEEKLY. No matter what. Takes the stress out of it - it’s just a habit. Over the course of a year there will be losses and gains, it’s normal!! Not weighing is a slippery slope to denial.
2, TRACK IT ALL. Even when it goes into the negatives. It’s really OK - some weeks are worse than others, and one bad week won’t break me or reverse all my progress. Again, tracking must be just habit. Part of daily self care like brushing my teeth or showering.
3. LOVE WHAT I EAT! I actually should have made this #1 — it is my top priority at all times: eating food I love. Then there is zero sacrifice and sticking to it is easy!! (Relatively speaking)
