This is wonderful and I appreciate this site! As you gain new members, I would love to know if any others are dealing with Type 2 Diabetes? The WW website specifically says that Diabetics should eat legumes and fruit sparingly. That was my main issue plus I have IBS and cannot eat legumes at all, ever, or raw veggies and a number of other things. My Diabetes is in EXCELLENT control after losing 103 pounds and being 8 pounds from goal but FS was blowing it because I felt like I was suddenly SHOVED into a position of eating what is NOT good for me, which I will not do, so I was actually going between going hungry or eating too much fruit and my sugar was going back up. As a former compulsive over eater, accountability is VERY important so I MUST track even those 0 things, and having the amount of flexibility Freestyle supposedly offers did NOT work for me.

I'm prediabetic and as a rule, never eat more than a serving of fruit per day - and I rarely eat corn or peas despite all of those being zero points. I found it easier to just go back to what I was doing before Freestyle - and I agree that the new program is not diabetic friendly.
I’m diabetic and my doctor told me to go back to Smart Points and Beyond the Scale. Freestyle is not diabetic friendly. I felt terrible, was gaining weight and my glucose levels were elevated. Smart Points was the plan I lost weight on and felt good following. Needless to say I’m back on Beyond the Scale and I feel so much better.
I heard that many diabetics were having a hard time with Freestyle!
