They say that it takes about 3 weeks to cement a habit...well I guess that depends but ever since I started on WW (again and forever) back in 2016, I saw how little by little I was learning how to discipline myself in portion control. Oh I had always had healthy food, but it was too much healthy food. In the beginning when I was tracking, oh man I thought I was going to starve. Then little by little, my brain and my stomach went into compliance mode and it became a habit to track and eat just what was allowed. And you know what? I welcomed it. I enjoyed it and I enjoyed losing weight! I have no desire to go back to my old habits. I have no desire to give up. When people tell me they have been lifetime for over 20 years, I say bravo, and then I make a resolve to be just like that!
